Carmen’s rock

It appears to be local “ironstone“ we find on the Alabama gulf coast. It is hard and heavy, and rust colored. Looks exactly like ostrich leather only giant. The bumps are about the size of a half dollar and raised. The rock is 3/4” thick +\- my 16 mo Lab pup brought it to me. It’s the only rock he has ever shown interest in.
